Bluff City Media, formerly known as Bluff City Nil, is a Memphis-based media company that began reporting on Memphis Tiger’s sports. As the Memphis media company grew, it expanded its reporting beyond Memphis collegiate sports. Blake Barnes worked with the owner to develop their new logo set. This new design needed to strike a balance between edgy and professional, but support the generalization of their new areas of Memphis sports coverage. The result was a fresh, adaptable brand identity that positioned Bluff City Media as a credible and distinctive media company in Memphis, Tennessee making a lasting impact in their industry.
